Came to Detroit about 1793, and remained until the American advent, when he signified his desire to continue a British subject, and removed to the south side of the river. He engaged in trade in Sandwich, and for a number of years was a partner of Robert errant. In 1812 Innes and McGregor owned an 80-ton vessel, the Thames.
